Basic qualifications you should have:
- being patient and passionate for teaching new drivers
- excellent communication skills
- excellent defensive driving skills
- clean 5 year driver abstract
- clean Crininal Record Check, including a Vulnerable Sector Check
Main duties of a driving instructor
- Instruct individuals on proper motor vehicle driving skills and traffic regulations;
- Supervise individuals during practice driving
- Provide evaluation for each training session
- Develop the knowledge and skills that allow the student to become a competent driver
