• Non-GDL driver licence required;
• To be eligible for class 3 road test, you have to:
  • Pass the class 3 knowledge test at registry office;
  • Pass the air brake knowledge test at registry office;
• Road test can be scheduled only when you are eligible; Or
• We can reserve a test spot for you if you promise you will be eligible before the test day;
• 5 day notice is required to cancel or reschedule your road test;
• Check-in has to be done at a Registry Agent office up to 72 hours in advance of the road test time.

• We can reserve a test spot for you if you promise you will be eligible before the test day;

Air - Air Brake Course

• 6.5 Hours In-class instruction
• 2 Hours In-yard practice and exam
• Air brake practice questions help you prepare for the knowledge test at registry office

Note: This is a one day course. Non-GDL driver licence is required to take this course. Your in-yard practice and exam may be scheduled on a different day depending on the number of students.  Once passing the practical exam, you are qualified to get the certificate which you should take to registry office for your knowledge test. You get your 'Q' endorsement after passing the knowledge test at registry office.

MELT 1 - Class 1 Training

• 40.5 Hours Online Theory Training
• 15.5 Hour In-yard Training (pre-trip inspection, air brake pre-trip inspection)
• 18 Hours In-yard Maneuvers (coupling, uncoupling, backup)
• 39 Hours One-on-One BTW In-truck Training

TRUCK - Rental for Test

• Customers/students are required to get confirmation from school before booking or rescheduling a road test.
• 48 hour notice is required to reschedule a booked road test.
• Please make sure you are prepared for your road test:
  • Passing the MELT 1 / Class 3 knowledge test at a Registry Agent office;
  • Passing the air brake knowledge test at a Registry Agent office;
  • Driver medical examination is required for class 1 road test.
  • Check-in has to be done at a Registry Agent office up to 72 hours in advance of your scheduled road test.

MELT 3 - Experience and Equivalency Class 1

• 11 Hours In-class Training
• 6.5 Hour In-yard Training 
• 13.5 Hours off-road maneuvers 
• 9 Hours on-road Training

Note: for existing class 3 drivers

You are eligible to take this course to get your class 1 driver licence, if you

• have held class 3 driver licence for 2 or more years
• apply 'Experience and Equivalency Class 1 MELT' program and are approved

TBR - Truck Brush Up

• Truck practical training 2 hours
• Professional assessment
